Child Restraints
Children younger than 1 year old or less than 20lbs must be restrained in a rear-facing infant seat.

Children aged 1 year to 3 years or 20-40lbs must be restrained in a forward-facing child safety seat.

Children aged 4 & 5 years or 40-60lbs must be restrained in a booster seat, which must be in the rear seat if the vehicle has a passenger airbag.

6 to 15 year olds or children weighing 60lbs or more must be restrained but can use the adult seat belt.
