• Carrying Children Safely - online Video
RoSPA has produced a film entitled “Carrying Children Safely”, which you can watch online.
The film is split up into several chapters which can be viewed on their own or all together. They include an introduction to child car seats and why they are needed, as well as sections on choosing and fitting rearward facing seats, forward facing seats, and booster seats and booster cushions. It also includes information about the laws on carrying children.

• Children in and Around Cars Fact Sheet
Most accidents involving children and cars occur when a child is travelling in a car that crashes, or is hit by a car as a pedestrian or cyclist. However, there are also cases where children are injured, and sometimes killed, when they are in or around a car, but not in a road accident.
This fact sheet looks at the child casualty statistics and offers advice about how to prevent them.
